Problem: Every time I try to log in, I immediately get a “connection lost, please log in again” message in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Some possible solutions: This problem is caused when your browser is not accepting cookies, which can have a variety of causes. Here are some of the most common solutions:
- Make sure the time, date, and time zone on your PC are set correctly. Sometimes Internet Explorer will not accept cookies if the time and date are way off. Click on the time in the lower right-hand corner of your windows desktop to see the time and date setting.
- If you are opening the Littlefield Technologies login page from a link on a course web page that is managed by Blackboard software, the Blackboard software might not allow the cookie if there are too many other teams logged in. You can solve this by not opening the Littlefield Technologies login page by clicking on the link. Instead copy and paste the web page address into your browser to open the login page.
- If the problem only occurs on one network, that network may have a firewall that blocks cookies. If you can’t have the firewall reconfigured, connect through a different network.
- You or someone else may have changed the security settings on your browser to not allow cookies. Your browser must accept cookies to access Littlefield Technologies.
