This statement discloses the privacy practices for all Responsive Learning Technologies (RLT) Web site(s).
Responsive Learning Technologies recognizes that its users may have legitimate concerns about privacy. RLT values your privacy and takes precautions to protect the personal information you provide us from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
This privacy policy sets forth outline our practices regarding the collection and use of Personally-Identifiable Information, as well as the choices we offer regarding correcting, updating, and removing this information. Personally-Identifiable Information includes, for example, e-mail addresses, billing information, and "click stream" data that tracks user activity on a Web site or online service.
This policy addresses only the activities that originate from our servers. Other sites (including those that we may link to) may have their own policies. We have no control over the activities of others and those activities are not addressed by this policy.
These policies have also been developed with the recognition that Internet technologies are rapidly evolving, and that underlying business models are still not established. Accordingly, policies are subject to change. Any such changes will be posted on this page.
Personally-Identifiable Information will only be collected to the extent that is deemed reasonably necessary to serve a legitimate business purpose. This information includes your first and last name, email address, password, and Institution name when you create your student account.
You can browse this Site without creating an account, but you will need to create an account when you purchase something and in order to take advantage of certain features and services.
When you access and use online software provided by RLT, RLT may record the times you access the software, the actions you take when you access the software, and the responses of the software to those actions. For example, if you take an online assessment, RLT will record your answers. If you play an online game, RLT will record your decisions in the game.
Records of your access and use of RLT’s online software may be made available to instructors or staff at the educational institution that you provided when you created your account. Data provided to instructors and staff at the educational institution in your account may also be provided in aggregate form, and may be linked to personally-identifiable information such as your name or e-mail address.
We never sell or rent your personal information to any third parties under any circumstances. We will share personal customer information and/or purchase history only with our service providers and for limited purposes, including but not limited to, fulfilling customer orders; communicating to customers; providing customer service; preventing fraud; and completing payment method processing.
Aside from the purposes described above, we will never share your personal information with any other third parties unless we have your express permission or to comply with valid legal processes (subpoenas, warrants) as required by law.
When you submit a credit card payment via an RLT web site, the credit card information is transmitted directly to Authorize.net, a leading provider of payment gateway services that processes billions of dollars of credit card transactions each year. Your credit card information, including your credit card number, billing address, expiration date, and security code are transmitted directly to Authorize.net via a secure socket. RLT cannot access that information. However, RLT does access and save the status of credit card transactions initiated from the RLT Site(s) including what was purchased, the e-mail address of the account from which the purchase was initiated, and whether the transaction succeeded. You can read more about Authorize.net’s privacy policy and terms of use on their web site at http://www.authorize.net .
